Tuff Stuff

Here's a hero shot of our man Chan. There are perks to being friends and neighbors with members of the SWAT team. Channing really could have used this particular getup earlier this evening over at Grandma and Grandpa's house. While playing with cousins in the backyard, he was "accidentally" hit on the head with a golf putter. I was about to pass out when I saw his white church shirt soaked in blood. Luckily, Dr. Lawrence has treated hundreds of such wounds in his day and was able to get Champ fixed up in no time. Channing was very brave and actually reveled in being the center of attention. Grandpa had to shave off some hair from the top of his head, so he is really going to be stylin' for the next few weeks. I have to say that Heavenly Father sent me some amazingly brave kids that seem to handle these traumatic events calmly and stoically. They are good examples to their mother....
