Happy 5th Birthday Champ!

Channing had a very fun and satisfying birthday yesterday. Here is a quick recap of all the highlights.

#1 He got to take these yummy basketball cookies to preschool to share with his friends (everything with him is basketball these days).

#2 We met up with some cousins and friends for a little partay at this crazy place...

#3 Enjoyed good company, good food, and great entertainment...

Ethan, Channing, and Nash

#4 Opened some very cool presents

#5 Rode on some very cool rides

Here's Titan and Mae Mae

#6 Spent the remaining part of the afternoon playing with one of his cool presents in the backyard.

#7 Got the Razor scooter of his dreams from his Mom and Dad.

#8 Had a fun bbq with some family friends and got to eat his special basketball cake.

#9 Got to stay up really late with Mom and Dad to celebrate his new 5 year old status. The missionaries stopped by to say hello and Channing was excited to serve them some cake. While walking them out he noticed a bright, shining star in the sky. I said to him " star lite, star bright, first star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight." Chan asked me to recite that a couple of times then he pulled my head in and said to me in a serious voice: "I wished for tons of soda." Oh, how we love our man!!!

#10 Got a Chuck E Cheese gift card in the mail from Grandma and Grandpa Ware. Champ was so excited after we explained to him what it was. Nothing gets him as giddy as the very mention of Chuck E Cheese. He said to us: "Oh man, I didn't even know these cards existed!!!"

  2. Happy Birthday Channing! WAY cute cake and cookies Kenz. Corey and I couldn't believe the pics of Channers and just how big he is. The basketball reminded us of the house at 1310 and March Madness--the guys would play game or two between the games on tv. Good times!
