Grandma and Grandpa came out for a few days and gave the kids some much needed extra attention. It only took a few cookies, but Scarlett warmed right up to Grandpa.
And so did I! Thanks for giving this tired Momma some assistance! Jer and I were even able to get some time out of the house together- alone.
Here (below) is what my mornings usually look like, with a new baby and a husband teaching seminary. You gotta hand it to my kids for at least trying to get themselves some breakfast.
Speaking of the kids, they are as cute and entertaining as ever. Here are the girls cheering on Channing in his basketball game. Channing's Shooting Stars experience is worthy of its own post entirely. Stay tuned..
And, someone got a haircut! I've been wanting to cut her hair for a while and finally muscled up the courage to do it. She loves it!! It fits her spunky personality perfectly. She was all too eager to model it for the camera. And, if I do say so myself, I did a half decent job for someone that never went to hair school.
1 month down, a lifetime to go. Talmage is a very mellow baby, lucky for us, and seems to roll with the pokes and slobbery kisses that are constantly hurled at him. He has brought a special spirit into our home and we are honored to have him.
Kenz your kids are so adorable! I'm so glad you had a little extra reinforcement this week. I know we can all use more than we often accept! :) I love to keep updated on your adorable family and know that you are just as amazing as I've always remembered you! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog, I had no idea you had a new little baby boy. Congratulations!! Your kids are so beautiful and so cute! I love Samara's haircut. It looks like you are doing great, so happy for you!
