The Truth

So, I'm still in a state of shock that Jeremy posted something on the blog. He warned me that this anniversary would be full of surprises and he certainly wasn't kidding. I am accustomed to finding thoughtful letters and notes from him all the time but he's never been known to blog. The truth is......

I am the lucky one in our marriage. When I married Jeremy, I knew he was a great guy but I didn't know how great he really was. I didn't know how patient, how forgiving, how positive, how steady, how thoughtful, and how unselfish he really was. I knew he would be a cute dad, but had no idea how natural it would come for him, how involved he would be. I knew he was a good person, but I had no idea how committed he was to learning new things, setting lofty goals, and bettering himself. I knew he was a happy guy, but had no idea how impossible it is to get him down. In every way, I look up to him and adore him. He is my better half..

And I'm not the only one who wants to be more like him!

He's got the cutest little entourage you've ever seen.

Here's champ trying to sell baseball cards out front. The sign says $2.00.  Business was very slow.

Here's Scarly who was very hot and needed some intense cooling off in front of the fan.

Yes, it is I who am the lucky one.

  1. That was a great post that Jeremy posted. I thought I was so clever though and had it all figured out right at the first. Thought it was an announcement for the next baby ....

  3. I was thinking baby at first, too....then I was like, "Wait how many kids do they have? And isn't their youngest a big young?" But that was such a lovely post from your hubby.
